QuickOrderForm vs Jotform

Jotform is genuinely excellent at order forms, and pretending otherwise would be a waste of your time. Here is what it does better than almost anyone — and the specific case where a simpler, order-first tool is the better fit.

Most "Jotform alternatives" pages are written by the alternatives, and this one is no exception — we make an order-form tool. So the honest place to start is with what Jotform beats us at, because for a lot of businesses that is the end of the decision.

All figures below are list prices in US dollars at the time of writing, and every company here changes them. Check before you commit. These numbers are kept consistent with our fuller Jotform alternatives roundup.

What Jotform does better than us

  • Real stock control. Jotform's Available Stock field decrements as orders arrive, shows a Sold Out badge, disables the item, and supports per-option stock so "Navy · L" runs out independently of "Navy · M". This is the mature version of the feature.
  • A vast template library. Around 20,000 templates, roughly 3,700 of them order forms. Whatever your niche, someone has laid it out already.
  • Payment breadth. Close to forty payment processors, plus per-option pricing, coupons, tax, shipping, and a purchase-order option that takes a priced order with no gateway connected.
  • Integrations and maturity. Around 200 integrations and years of hardening. It is a deep, well-supported product, not a weekend tool.

If your order form needs online payment, variant-level stock, and a long list of fields wired into other software, that is Jotform's home turf. The rest of this page is for a different shape of business.

Where Jotform gets expensive — and the cap nobody mentions

Look at the last column. Payment submissions are metered separately, and roughly ten times more tightly than submissions. Bronze sounds like 1,000 orders a month; if you take payment on the form, it is 100. That payment number — not the headline submission number — is your real monthly capacity for a paid order form, and it is the figure most comparison articles quietly omit. (HIPAA compliance, if you need it, starts on Gold at $129/mo.)

Where QuickOrderForm fits instead

We build exactly one thing: an order form. Products with prices and photos, quantity steppers, a live total the customer sees before they submit, per-item caps that count across every order, an order number on every confirmation, a one-tap WhatsApp hand-off so the customer can message you the moment they order, and a dashboard with CSV export.

  • Simpler on purpose. One order-first page instead of a general-purpose form builder with a stock module bolted on. There is less to learn because there is less to it.
  • No per-submission cap that disables your form. Order capture never stops and there is no separate, tighter payment-submission meter — a busy week cannot pause your live page. See our pricing pledges.
  • No platform fee and no customer surcharge. We do not take a cut of your orders and we never add a fee at your customer's checkout.
  • A WhatsApp hand-off built in. Orders flow straight into the conversation most small sellers already run their business in.

And here is the honest limit, so nobody switches on a wrong assumption: we do not process payments inside the form yet, our integration breadth is nothing like Jotform's, and our template library is a curated handful, not twenty thousand. If money must change hands at the moment of ordering, Jotform is the right recommendation today.

Which to pick

If this is youPick
You take card payment inside the form and sell variants with separate stockJotform — the stock and payment depth is the whole point
You collect payment at pickup or by a link, and want prices, caps, totals, and order numbers without a subscriptionQuickOrderForm — order-first, and free while in beta

The question that sorts it fastest: does money change hands inside the form, or at handover? Inside the form, you are shopping for payment and stock depth, and Jotform wins. At handover — most bakeries, farm stands, caterers, pop-ups, and wholesale accounts — you are shopping for capped quantities, clear totals, and a working list, and you can spend far less.

Frequently asked questions

+Is QuickOrderForm a real Jotform alternative?

For order forms where payment happens at pickup or by a link, yes — you get prices, live totals, per-item caps, and order numbers without Jotform's per-submission caps or a subscription. For forms that must take card payment at the moment of ordering, or need variant-level stock and deep integrations, Jotform is still the more complete product.

+What is Jotform's real submission limit for a paid order form?

The payment-submissions figure, not the headline submissions figure. Jotform meters paid orders separately and about ten times more tightly: the Bronze plan allows 1,000 submissions a month but only 100 that include a payment. If you take payment on the form, that payment number is your true monthly capacity.

+How much does Jotform cost?

List pricing at the time of writing is Free ($0), Bronze ($39/mo), Silver ($49/mo), and Gold ($129/mo), with Enterprise by contact. HIPAA compliance starts on Gold. Jotform changes its prices, so confirm on their site before committing.

+Does QuickOrderForm charge my customers a fee?

No. There is no platform fee on your orders and no surcharge at your customer's checkout. Everything is free while we are in beta; at launch the free plan stays free for one published page, with Pro at $12/mo and Wholesale at $29/mo.
